I get this question very often, what does the name VANDAMM mean?
The brand name VANDAMM came about like this: as a born Dutchman, I was looking for something Dutch with a German touch and international potential - so I mixed the Dutch name Van Dam with German and it became VANDAMM.
At the very beginning of every new collection is the idea. Where do I want to go, what should be special? VANDAMM should be suitable for everyday use, but at the same time super chill.
The pieces should accompany you every moment of the day, not just in the gym or at home. They should give you a very special feeling, a kind of feeling of well-being that you can wear.
The garments are all sampled by myself, I designed the logo, selected the fabrics and materials so carefully that I want to wear every single piece myself.
My vision is to develop VANDAMM into a unisex brand, i.e. to create comfortable yet stylish clothing for the whole family.
